Falafel Burger

Falafel have been eaten throughout the Mediterranean for centuries. Once a common street food throughout the region, it was quickly exported around the world and found a rapturous reception from all corners of the globe. McDonalds even once sold them in Egypt because they were so desired!

Our Traditional Falafel Burgers are made the classic way; from ground chickpeas, herbs and spices. The mixture is then formed into burger patties that should be deep fried for a texture that’s crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. Naturally vegan and vegetarian, these are fantastic on a toasted bun with lettuce, onions and a drizzle of tahini.

After our success in introducing our range as a non-fried option, we also offer a ready-fried option, as demand for this has increased from catering outlets who have no facilities for frying. They are chilled or frozen, and ready to heat and eat, which makes them easier to store and faster to serve without the hassle of frying.

Frozen, Non-Fried

Quantities: 1kg plain bags for catering or 500gm pouches for retail.

Cooking Instructions: Deep Fry. Preheat oil to 170˚C/340˚F. Cook directly from frozen. Lower Falafel Burger gently into the preheated oil for 5 minutes until golden brown all over.

Store frozen at -18˚C or below. Do not refreeze if thawed.

Ingredients: Chickpeas 75%, Potato (10%), Onion (8%), Vegetable Oil, Water, Parsley, Lemon Juice, Salt, Ground Cumin, Black Pepper, Bicarbonate of Soda.

No artificial colours or preservatives. Halal. Free from dairy, eggs, nuts and soya.
